The Cellular Store is a front-line retailer for Verizon Wireless - the largest wireless carrier in the United States. We have locations throughout North and South Carolina and Georgia. We have a commitment to our customers that is unmatched, striving to deliver the right product for the customer needs every time. We desire to serve our local communities via involvement in the local chamber of commerce and other civic and charitable organizations.
The owner Steve Carmichael is a veteran of the telecommunications industry. No stranger to the wireless business, Steve started his career with Price Waterhouse, subsequently joining BellSouth in 1995. Steve had a successful career there working in various finance and development capacities with wireless companies around the world, taking him to Europe, Asia and Latin America. Steve and his wife Leigh Anne grew up in small communities and their dream was to be part of a smaller community….to provide their two children with the same sense of community that they had as children.
Steve has spent his career in business development, assessing risk and reward with an objective view. When he met the management and staff at The Cellular Store, and reviewed the operational and financial information, he knew he had found a business into which he could put his whole-hearted efforts. “The people were all so intelligent and hard-working as well, Verizon is absolutely the best carrier in the country.
